Md. Jakirul Islam Chowdhury is a dedicated and highly experienced professional currently serving as a Monitoring Officer at Chetona. He brings over 35 years of experience to the microfinance and development sector, having started his career in 1986.

His extensive background includes key management and field roles at major organizations, including over eight years as Field In-Charge at Comilla Proshika, Unit Supervisor at ASA, Area Manager at Padakkhep, and Credit Manager at CNRS. Academically, he holds a Masters of Commerce (M.Com) in Management and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com).

His expertise is further supported by specialized training in Micro-credit and Monitoring (PKSF) and Accounts and MIS , along with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
