Mohammed Musa, the Chairman of CHETONA – Paribesh O Manob Unnayan Sangstha, is the founding leader whose vision and commitment laid the foundation of the organization in 1998. Observing the community’s long-standing struggles with natural disasters, poverty, illiteracy, inadequate health services, and limited access to safe water and sanitation, he mobilized dedicated local individuals to work collectively for sustainable change.

Under his leadership, CHETONA has evolved into a grassroots-driven development organization with a strong focus on poverty alleviation, women’s empowerment, and community resilience. Mohammed Musa’s strategic guidance has enabled the organization to expand its services into remote areas of the district, steadily increasing its impact.

With steadfast dedication, he continues to steer CHETONA toward inclusive development, ensuring that marginalized families—especially women—gain access to opportunities that enhance their quality of life and support long-term community progress.
